Welcome to Infinity Games — where fun, family, and community come together! My husband, our son, and I started this journey with one small dream and a simple goal: to create a place where people of all ages could come together, find joy, and connect over a shared love of games.
It all began in a cozy, tucked-away corner of Main Street, right here in Rutherfordton. At the time, we were a modest little shop with just a handful of board games and big hopes. The early days weren’t always easy, but we had each other and a vision. Slowly, one game, one conversation, and one new friend at a time, we saw the seeds of something special take root. People started to gather, and friendships began to blossom over shared victories and laughter-filled challenges. We weren't just running a store; we were growing a family.
Our son was just a little boy back then, but he’s grown up alongside this shop, learning the ropes and discovering his own love for games and the community we’ve built. Together as a family, we spent countless late nights painting walls, setting up tables, and dreaming up ways to make the shop better for everyone who walked through our doors.
As word spreads and our community grew, we outgrew our little space on Main Street. It was bittersweet, leaving behind the place where it all began, but we were thrilled to find a much larger building that could truly become a home for all we’d imagined — and all of you. We've filled the new space with a new arcade, an expanded game library, and expanded the coffee and smoothie bar, so there’s always something refreshing for everyone. We even added a “Dragon’s Den” for epic D&D sessions and a dedicated section for Warhammer, Pokémon, and everything a gamer’s heart desires.
From hosting game nights and tournaments to crafting an inclusive, welcoming space where everyone feels at home, Infinity Games has grown into more than we ever dreamed. But our mission remains the same as that first day we opened our doors: to create a place where everyone can feel like they belong. It doesn’t matter if you’re a lifelong gamer or just curious about the world of board games and tabletop adventures — there’s a spot for you here, a place to explore, connect, and have fun.
